Hey mamas! Here’s an easy weeknight dinner recipe to add to your menu this week. All you need is 15 minutes, 4 ingredients, and dinner is DONE!

When I’m meal planning and I need a dinner idea for DIY Pizza Night, this is the one that I come back to again and again.
I absolutely love it for its minimal ingredients. It’s also one of those meals that you can let the kids help you cook!
Store-Bought Pizza Sub Recipe Ingredients
Sub Buns – These buns are my favorite brand. They are 6-inch subs and come in a pack of 8. I usually purchase two packs with our family size so that everyone can enjoy at least 2 subs each — everybody LOVES them!
Pizza Sauce – I buy a 24oz jar of pre-made marinara sauce to save time. You can also use pizza sauce — my family can hardly ever taste the difference.
Pepperoni – A 6oz bag of pepperonis is plenty for these Sheet Pan Pizza Subs!
Mozzarella Cheese – Pre-shredded 8-oz bag of mozzarella cheese for the win!
Italian Seasoning – This is optional, but you can add a pitch for a little extra flavor!

Of course, you can have fun with it and add whatever toppings you’d like! My kids prefer to keep it classic with pepperoni and cheese toppings, which only makes my life easier.
How to Make Sheet Pan Pizza Subs in 15 Minutes!
Preheat your oven to 350 F. Grab a 18 x 13 baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.

Open your sub buns and place them onto the baking sheet. On the bottom layer, spread a thin amount of pizza sauce, top with mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni slices. Repeat until all pizza subs are assembled.

Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until pizza subs are golden, toasty and cheese is melted. Remove from oven and carefully fold over the top bun. Serve hot and enjoy!
What to Serve With Sheet Pan Pizza Subs
Normally, we just eat this pizza subs recipe with pizza dipping sauce. But, sometimes I’ll also serve a side salad.
