We weren’t designed to run ourselves into exhaustion. And honestly?

That’s what I’m looking forward to the most tomorrow…ending the night with peace, not burnout 😮‍💨🙌🏽🦃

I felt led to share this because the reality is, f I felt led to share this because the reality is, for a lot of people, the holidays are a tough time. If you’ve been feeling guilty for wanting to sit Thanksgiving out, you don’t need a dramatic excuse. You need a clean, respectful boundary that protects your peace without creating unnecessary conflict.

They may be disappointed, but disappointment is not disrespect. Time and time again, Jesus modeled for us that you can love your people and still have boundaries.

You don’t need to justify.
You do not need to over-explain.
You do not need to lie.
You do not need to defend.

So let your “yes” be yes, and your “no” be no. (Matthew 5:37)

The holiday season brings joy, but it also brings The holiday season brings joy, but it also brings noise, pressure, and expectations.

Before you say yes to all the things this season brings, ask yourself:

• Am I saying yes because I don’t want to disappoint someone?
• Do I actually have the time, energy, or finances for this?

God never designed us to carry everyone else’s expectations. You can love your family AND honor your capacity this season. Jesus did. (John 7:6)

I love how God used something as simple as a puzzl I love how God used something as simple as a puzzle to bring His word to life:

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him...” - Romans 8:28

And to show me what trusting Him with all the pieces of my life actually looks like:

“I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the LORD; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope.” - Jeremiah 29:11

I’m learning that His timing is better. His plans are better. His will is better. And He’s not done assembling me yet 🙌🏽❤️🙏🏽

Hi 👋🏽🥰 Lots of new faces around here, so Hi 👋🏽🥰 Lots of new faces around here, so I figured it was time for a little reintroduction! Swipe to read more about where I am, who I’m becoming, and what you can expect from me now.

I grew up hiding my faith because I didn’t want to be known as “the church girl.” That left me craving acceptance and validation in other ways. I strayed, but God is gently drawing me back — calling me to live my faith out loud.

Not as a perfect Christian. Just as a mom of 5, still figuring it out.

“Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds…” - Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭

So this space is shifting a little — you’ll still see family life and mom moments, but you’ll also see more scripture, encouragement, modest fashion that’s anything but boring, and glimpses of what it looks like to live a Christ-centered life in the middle of motherhood.

This will be a space where faith feels normal, motherhood feels seen, and you feel encouraged.

If that sounds like something you need, stick around 🫶🏽 And if you’re a mom learning to anchor in God too, drop a ✝️ so I know I’m not alone. ☺️

How to Get Rid of Urine Smell From Kids Clothes

If you have a child who is a frequent bed-wetter like I do, then you’ve probably noticed how hard it is to get rid of the urine smell from their clothes.

You’re not crazy. That faint pee smell your nose is picking up is still there — even after you wash it.

I thought that I could toss the urine laundry in the washing machine too and run it like I normally do, and it would take care of it, but it didn’t.

Because, little did I know, there’s an extra small step required to get rid of the urine smell from clothes.

Thank goodness, though, the solution is cheap, easy, all-natural, and it works like a charm!

How To Get Rid Of Urine Smell From Kids Clothes

The secret to getting clothes from smelling like urine to smelling fresh again is white distilled vinegar!!!

Vinegar is a great stain and odor remover for this job because it can break down the uric acid in urine.

The best way to get rid of urine smell from clothes is to first complete a full wash cycle using cold water and a cup of distilled white vinegar WITHOUT detergent.

My son’s clothes were quite soiled, so I added vinegar to the liquid detergent dispenser, the fabric softener dispenser, and poured a cup over the clothes before starting the washer.

Once the cycle is complete, run the load again, but this time WITH detergent, and wash on the hottest water temperature recommended for the fabric.

Toss in the dryer and the urine smell will be gone!

Getting Rid of Urine Smell With Vinegar Is Easy

I noticed this vinegar hack worked once I opened the washer and I could no longer smell urine, but my laundry detergent instead!

It was so hard for me to find a solution like this to get rid of the urine smell from my son’s clothes, but I’m glad I didn’t give up. I hope you’ll consider giving this method a try too and letting me know if it works for you!
