Make it make sense. The issue in this country has Make it make sense. The issue in this country has always been that some people only enjoy culture when it’s palatable to them, but not when it asks them to listen.

We tuned in as a family because I wanted my kids to witness history unfolding, and baaaaabyyy we were salsa dancing the whole time πŸ˜‚πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ‡΅πŸ‡·

Stocking on staples I’ll need to support my new Stocking on staples I’ll need to support my new glp-1 journey! πŸ›’πŸ— Here’s everything on my grocery list: 

1️⃣ Multivitamin + Omega 3 - this is crucial for making sure I stay healthy and feel my best during treatment. 

2️⃣ Protein - GLP-1 meds can reduce appetite, which often means less protein intake. I’ve learned that protein food sources or powders help preserve lean muscle mass, support immune function, and keep energy up. 

3️⃣ Fiber - helps with digestion, bowel regularity, and blood sugar balance. I’m starting slow with chia seeds (adding this to my protein smoothies!). 

4️⃣ Electrolytes - Since GLP-1 slows digestion and reduces appetite often, it increases risk of dehydration. I grabbed Body Armor FlashIV packets for when my appetite is low and I feel lightheaded or depleted. 

5️⃣ GLP-1 Friendly Foods: eggs, plain Greek yogurt, grilled chicken, peanut butter, frozen berries, apples, granola, and protein bars. 

I’m not trying to change my diet completely, but I am focused on making small, simple, and healthier choices that I can easily maintain. Ultimately, I’m aiming for 20–30g protein per meal while using GLP-1 meds, but if my appetite is low, it becomes protein first, then carbs.

How to Clean Your Microwave with Vinegar

Cleaning the microwave is a dirty job that someone’s got to do. Today, I’m going to show you how to get your microwave sparkling clean without scrubbing until your arm goes numb.

The secret? A good-ole steam clean with white distilled vinegar!

I swear, distilled vinegar is the holy grail of natural cleaning. It can take care of dirt, dust, grime, soap scum, laundry, odor, and so much more!

How to Clean Your Microwave In 3 Easy Steps

1. In a microwaveable bowl, add two cups of water and two tablespoons of white distilled vinegar. 

2. Place the bowl in the microwave and heat on HIGH for about five minutes, or until the mixture is hot and the inside is covered in steam.

3. Wait 3-5 minutes before opening the door. Remove the bowl and wipe down with a sponge or microfiber cloth.

How Often Should You Clean The Microwave?

You’ll only need to do a deep cleaning like this about once a month. But, you should always clean the inside of your microwave as often as needed. 

How to Keep Your Microwave Clean Longer:

  • Only use it when you have to. If you’ve got to heat up leftovers for the whole family, consider reheating on the stovetop or in the oven. 
  • Clean spills immediately. When you see food splatter after using the microwave, use a paper towel or microfiber cloth to clean it up right away. A heavy buildup of caked-on food is so much harder to remove later.
  • Use a splash cover. It will keep food from splattering all over the place and stores neatly inside your microwave so you don’t forget to use it! You can find it here.
