The older I get, the more I’m embracing these fr The older I get, the more I’m embracing these freckles and choosing low-makeup days, so it was time to upgrade my skincare!

I wanted hydrating, glow-boosting products that actually fit into real life, and this Korean-leaning lineup has been such a good reset πŸ™ŒπŸ½βœ¨β˜ΊοΈ

Here’s everything I grabbed from Amazon for under $100:

βœ… Toner: d’Alba Piedmont Italian White Truffle First Spray Serum β€” hydrating + glow-enhancing

βœ… Serum 1: Naturium Vitamin C Complex Face Serum β€” brightening + evening tone (but I don’t use this at night)

βœ… Serum 2: COSRX Snail Mucin Repairing Serum β€” plumping + deeply hydrating

βœ… Moisturizer: COSRX Snail Mucin 92% Face Moisturizer β€” lightweight, sealing, glow-friendly

Stocking on staples I’ll need to support my new Stocking on staples I’ll need to support my new glp-1 journey! πŸ›’πŸ— Here’s everything on my grocery list:

1️⃣ Multivitamin + Omega 3 - this is crucial for making sure I stay healthy and feel my best during treatment.

2️⃣ Protein - GLP-1 meds can reduce appetite, which often means less protein intake. I’ve learned that protein food sources or powders help preserve lean muscle mass, support immune function, and keep energy up.

3️⃣ Fiber - helps with digestion, bowel regularity, and blood sugar balance. I’m starting slow with chia seeds (adding this to my protein smoothies!).

4️⃣ Electrolytes - Since GLP-1 slows digestion and reduces appetite often, it increases risk of dehydration. I grabbed Body Armor FlashIV packets for when my appetite is low and I feel lightheaded or depleted.

5️⃣ GLP-1 Friendly Foods: eggs, plain Greek yogurt, grilled chicken, peanut butter, frozen berries, apples, granola, and protein bars.

I’m not trying to change my diet completely, but I am focused on making small, simple, and healthier choices that I can easily maintain. Ultimately, I’m aiming for 20–30g protein per meal while using GLP-1 meds, but if my appetite is low, it becomes protein first, then carbs.

10 Things to Do For Yourself Before Baby Arrives

This past weekend I decided to treat myself to a pre-baby spa day! At 37 weeks pregnant, the discomfort is getting real, so I was definitely looking forward to this.

I had the most amazing time unwinding at the Panacea Luxury Spa with one of my girlfriends! We booked a mani & pedi and were pampered with plush robes, slippers, non-alcoholic cocktails, and truly felt fancy for a day.

This place has been on my radar for a while and it was honestly just what I needed before giving birth!

I haven’t always been intentional about taking time for myself. In fact, I used to feel really guilty about spending any money for things outside of the needs of my house or children.

But I’m much better now at making myself a priority so that I can be the wife and mom I want to be.

It’s been three days since my spa day and I still feel so refreshed and ready to embrace this next chapter as a mom of five!

I highly recommend every mama-to-be do something for yourselves before your baby arrives! Life is about to get so busy with endless diaper changes, back-to-back feedings, and you’ll be running on absolutely no sleep.

So while you’re busy trying to finish the nursery, pack your hospital bag, and make sure that your newborn has everything it needs, remember to take some time for you β€” because you deserve it, mama!Β

10 Pre-Baby Self-Care Ideas
  1. Treat yourself to a mani/pedi
  2. Get your hair done
  3. Catch some live music
  4. Go out to eat with a friend
  5. Run yourself a warm bath
  6. Take an art, cooking, or pottery class
  7. Book a prenatal massage
  8. Plan a romantic getaway with your partner β€” also known as a Babymoon!
  9. See a good movie
  10. Go shopping for new skincare, makeup, or postpartum clothes.

How do you like to treat yourself?
