One of my favorite childhood memories is baking homemade peanut butter cookies. Now that I am mom, I am excited to create memories like these with my boys.
This recipe is so easy anyone can make it! You won’t need a stand mixer, flour, or butter.
Just five basic ingredients and ten minutes later, you’ve got yourself a batch of the softest cookies ever!
Peanut Butter Cookie Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 1 large egg

How to Make Peanut Butter Cookies
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: In a medium bowl with an electric hand mixer, combine peanut butter and two sugars until smooth. Add egg and baking soda and mix for about two minutes.

Step 3: Roll into small balls and create a criss-cross pattern with a fork. (Mine are a little big because I used a cookie scoop)

Step 4: Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned. Allow to cool for two minutes, then transfer onto a wire rack.

Enjoy and store remaining cookies in an airtight container at room temperature!
