Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, so today I’m sharing an easy dinner idea you can make as a couple or with your kids!
I honestly can’t even remember the last time Ryheem and I went out on Valentine’s Day. When you’re married with (four) kids, it’s hard to find a babysitter. So we end up celebrating right at home and put the kids to bed a little earlier than usual.
I made this heart-shaped pepperoni pizza for our kids last year and they absolutely loved it! I used store-bought pizza dough and it was ready in 15 minutes.

Heart-Shaped Pizza Ingredients
Dough – you will need pizza dough, not pizza crust, which you can find in the refrigerated section. It makes it easier to shape your pizza into a heart!
Italian Seasoning – it adds a little flavor.
Pizza Sauce
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Pepperoni Slices
Fresh Basil, for garnish.

How to Make A Heart-Shaped Pepperoni Pizza
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove your pizza dough from the package and lay fat.
Cut a small slit in the middle and use your hands to form a heart. I found it easiest to roll the sides as I was shaping it.

Next, add a thin layer of pizza sauce. Then, top the pizza with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and sprinkle Italian seasoning to taste.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the pizza crust is golden brown.
Top with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve!
