Baked Cranberry Brie with Walnuts

Hosting for the holidays? Here is an easy appetizer you’ll want to add to your holiday menu — ready in 15 minutes!

Today, I’m sharing with you a cozy appetizer with just three ingredients: cheese, cranberry sauce, and walnuts!

It will be the perfect addition to your menu this holiday season. Brie is already a soft cheese, but when it comes out of the oven, it’s warm, melted, gooey, and is to die for!!!

The addition of cranberry sauce is what I love more than anything. It adds a warm and festive vibe!

You can serve this Baked Cranberry Brie with crackers or pita bread on your holiday charcuterie board.

Ingredients Needed

  • Brie – you want the Brie to be cold before baking it. You can even pop it in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes before baking it to get really cold.
  • Cranberry Sauce – homemade or store-bought, it doesn’t matter. But if you’re going to buy the premade cranberry sauce, you will need a can of whole cranberry sauce, not the jellied version.
  • Walnuts – you will need a small bag of chopped walnuts.

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
  • Place the Brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10 minutes
  • Carefully transfer the Brie onto a separate serving dish once it has cooled
  • Top with cranberry sauce, leaving a small border, then add a few walnuts, and enjoy!

The Brie will stay melted and gooey for only about 10-15 minutes, but it’ll still be soft to slice and spread on crackers.

If you want to make the cheese gooey again, simply reheat it in the microwave in 20-second increments.

You can refrigerate Baked Cranberry Brie for up to 4 days in an air-tight container or wrapped in plastic. But it’s best to eat it 1-2 days after it’s made because constant reheating will change its texture.

Are you going to try this Baked Cranberry Brie for your next holiday gathering?
